We are looking for volunteers who believe in our mission and are willing to commit at least 10 hours a week for minimum six months. If this is something that interests you then please send us your resume.
Requirements
To provide counseling, psycho- educational services and cultural awareness programs for newcomer families and their children that is respectful of ethnic values and diverse views, including State Laws pertaining to Child Protection, Domestic Violence, Educational, Grief and other areas.
To provide a setting for professionals who work with stressed families in newcomer and other circumstances to gain knowledge and skills to help them be effective in their work.
To develop a knowledge base for dissemination of practices, methods and concepts for use in the broad mental health and Social Services field.
Must have a 3.0 G.P.A. or above
Graduate Student preferred.
Currently, enrolled in a College or University
Be willing to commit volunteering unpaid intern for part-time 6 months or until project is completed.
